In
pursuing the forgotten child, AED is continually faced with
health issues surrounding the thousands of children we work
with. That challenge is met with the leadership of AED's co-founder,
board member and current Community Health Director, Janet Salmon,
BSN. Janet's natural compassion for forgotten children along
with her extensive cross cultural and professional history as
an RN have equipped her for the task, which includes coordinating
medical professional's volunteering with AED as well as the
ongoing needs assessment in each of AED's current projects.
